Excellent
This watch look and feels expensive. It feels very durable and solid. The case is thick and well made, although it’s a little too polished for my preference, but it looks great. The lume is amazing, incredibly bright and detailed. Battery life is good so far. The chronograph complication works perfectly, and actually functions as a stopwatch.Unfortunately, there were a few things that kept it from five stars.The main issue was the band. The band is made from extremely firm leather, which is actually real leather and very high quality, but since the material is so firm and difficult to move around, it makes it difficult to put on and take off the watch quickly, or even in a normal manner. To make matters worse, the band is not removable, and I had to take it a watch specialist to remove the band.The good news is that once the band is removed, you can buy a 22mm leather band that works with the watch. I specifically looked for a band that was thinner material that is easier to manipulate, or put on.Aside from the band, the crown does not screw down, which is fine but it would be nice if it did, and when you unbox the watch for the first time, the chronograph buttons above and below the crown have a blue film that you have to remove somehow. I had to scrape it with my fingernail and it took a few minutes but the good news is it comes off relatively easy.Other than the band, overall this watch is very nice and I’d recommend it! I acknowledge everyone has preferences with watch bands, and if you like thick, tough, sturdy leather bands, this is absolutely the watch for you. However, if you’re like me, and prefer thinner leather, I’d still recommend it, but you’ll spend an extra $40 just getting the band how you’d like it.

The watch arrived on time and in good shape. It has an overall feeling and appearance of cheapness, but looks OK from a distance.I wanted a cheap chronograph that measured tenths of seconds. It works.It’s much larger than I imagined – a negative for me but a positive for others.The main hands are easy to read. The small chronograph dials are hard for me to read – my mistake for ordering a version with a dark background.The manual is nearly unreadable and is as cheap as the watch.If you want a big honkin cheap chronograph and understand that you get what you pay for, this watch is just fine.

Durable, reliable, but somewhat off.
When I first received this watch, I thought it was amazing. The colors were accurate, the band was color and material was all accurate. I only have one small issue with this watch, the ‘seconds’ hand is slightly off, where when it should be showing for example 60 seconds, it looks like 1 second, it doesn’t seem that it will be centered with minute or hour lines on the watch face.Other than that, the watch works perfectly, and its very nice. I would recommend for someone that is looking for watch, specifically an analog watch.

really cant call it cheap
well i just opened the box and said wow. i bought the light blue and it pops right at you .the dial color is like no other . the case has high polish and very smooth finish . the band is soft like suede and is comfortable ,everything works as it should …. i have a box full of $500 watches and bought this one for the dial color .in my eyes ,it looks and feels way past its price point .so cheap i will say no , inexpensive yes . it is as described a nice watch for the money you can buy one for every day use when it stops buy a new one

CANT FIND ANYTHING WRONG
I can’t find anything wrong with this watch , the band it came with wasn’t so great I switched it out for a NATO strap but this thing works great and keeps good time , other than knowing it’s so cheap I cant find any reason to not like it , also it’s funny but non watch people seem to think it’s an expensive timepiece

Amazing!!!
It’s a great time piece! I’m astonished in all honestly at the price and quality. I was skeptical at first purchasing it considering my job and how it’s hard to keep nice things intact while working. So I figured I’d purchase an inexpensive watch to wear at work and leave my pricier one at home. This watch has taken a beating and still looks and works like brand new minus a small nick on the leather banding. Ill definitely be purchasing another when the time comes. Minor pun intended. Anybody on the fence about purchasing one question yourself no more and buy this, you will not regret it. They would even make a great gift for a loved one. I never ever write reviews for the products I purchase online but this product really compelled me to after all the compliments I’ve recieved on it and the durability is top notch. Like I said, I beat the hell out of this watch on a daily basis and you wouldn’t even be able to tell. Purchase it and you will not be disappointed.

Trash bad gearing
For the price, utter garbage the three smaller little tiles, one turned on simultaneously conflict, each other, despite not being dependent on one another after this happened. All of their hands were reset in the wrong place from then on the stopwatch had a stroke one day it would count for a whole minute before having a seizure. The next day it could only count to 17 seconds. When I bought it, I’m pretty sure the price was $50 and it sure isn’t very good looking paperweight.

Boyfriend was so impressed.
My boyfriend collects watches. He thought I spent a lot of money. It was one of his Christmas presents. He is a business man and is picky about his clothes and his watches. He was blown away by this watch. From my point of view, I like a man who knows good watches and good shoes. One of the first things I look at on a man. I find that very sexy. And this watch is very sexy. It looks well made the band is soft and real leather. He changes his watches every day but I noticed he’s been wearing this one a lot. Probably because I said he looks very sexy with that watch on. LOL. I don’t think you’re going to find a better watch at this price point.

Nice for a cheap watch
This watch has many more features than it should. The chronograph stop watch actually works and is fairly accurate. 95% of watches at this price point will have nonfunctional chronograph. The band is very nice and the overall look is good, but let’s face it the watch is a cheap watch, it feels cheap when worn and is not going to hold up to any punishment. So appearance is good looks a bit cheap up close, out the box function with functional chronograph very good, strap very nice, the overall longevity of watch poor.

Face color isn’t exactly matched the pictures
I ordered the Brown Blue but a little disappointed when the blue face didn’t match the vibrant blue shown on the picture, other than that, it’s a very nice looking, functional watch which to me is still a 4-star rating watch. How long would it last? I’ll find out

Keeping good time so far!
This watch really looks great but I have not had it long enough to write a legitimate review. However, I would direct you to my previous review of the black Benyar that I purchased in August of 2020 and which I updated over the first 12 months of ownership. I doubt any of my assessments will change. This blue watch with the tan band is a little thinner (thus, lighter weight) and the tan band is a little thinner than the black band. But it probably has exactly the same movement as the black watch which I finally reset last week after 12 months. During that one year period, the black Benyar lost 45 seconds leading me to form the opinion that it’s arguably the best $36 watch on the planet!! Prices are going up slightly, but I hope that next year I can say roughly the same thing about the $38 blue and tan model!!August 29 update: Having just read a customer review that said the watch does not keep good time must have been written by a person who got stuck with a lemon. After 10 days this watch is within 2 seconds of when I set it.Paul in Pittsboro

Beautiful watch… but guaranteed to stop working after a year
I love how these watches look, and get many compliments even from those who own expensive watches. I’ve purchased 4 over the past 4 years. Every one of them suddenly stopped working after about a year. I’ve never complained because at only $40, they are still well worth the money. But if you are budget conscious, you might want to buy a warranty for when the watch will inevitably stop working.

The light blue face watch has different chronograph dials, 24 hour, 60 minute and 60 second.
This is a beautiful watch. Seems well made. The Chronograph dials on the light blue face watch seem to be different from all the other watch colors and the way to set the dials is different. ( I cannot explain easily how to do this… but play around with it… hold down the B button… and it starts to rotate fast… and all the other little dials move to the time you want… but you have to hold it down until you get to the correct time) It’s nice if you want to set that as your home time and change the bigger watch face hands when you are traveling. That’s the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars… It took me awhile to figure out how to set the the little dials. But it is a beautiful and seems to be well made watch.

Looks expensive, but completely afford
I love this watch! I’m a summer camp counselor who loves to look lavish. This watch in particular caught my eye due to the price and its sleekness. I honestly thought it was a scam. So I bought it and when it arrived, it was the same watch I saw when I bought it. When my campers and coworkers see my watch, I’d get compliments all around, as well as people asking me how expensive it was. When I tell them $40, they never believe me. What is better is that the watch comes with a year warranty! I did not know this until my watch broke. I was bummed, however, I ended up reaching out to Beynar and they replaced my watch completely free. This company really cares for their customers as they are the only individuals I’ve seen that reach out to their customers and ask about their products and reviews. They also respond extremely fast. I highly recommend this watch if you are in need of an amazing-looking watch for such a low price.

Band is too short
This is a very nice watch but the band is on the short side. My husband is 6’3 with normal size wrists & the band barely fits around to the first notch. I wish there was an option for a longer band but I can’t reach anyone in the company. Sadly I might have to return.

I’m sorry that I don’t have a picture of the watch to add.I do love the watch. The price was great. I have not gotten it wet, would like to know how wet it can get. The stop watch little hands never return exactly back at zero. I doubt it is something I will use a lot, but I just want to be honest.This watch is a great casual watch to wear with jeans and polo, shorts & t-shirt. Just about everything I wear, except suits. I usually don’t big, thick and more heavy watches, but I really like this one a lot.This is a homerun for sure. Blessings!

If you’re finding yourself in a scramble for an appropriate gift for literally anyone owns at least one wrist, but are out of ideas, go for a watch. Specifically, this watch.Is it personal? No.Is it functional? Yes. This is the equivalent of giving someone socks. This is not a fun gift, it’s a gift that says “I’m encouraging you to learn timeliness” and/or “I have no ideas but you may get offended if I offered you socks”I went with blue, because it looked cool, but I think any of the available colour offerings are equally shiny and pretty.It comes in a box – you put a bow on it, and presto! This year’s [insert event with mandatory gifts] can be checked off until the next time.

Very nice looking
I really live this watch, as it looks great for a night out to dinner and goes with many outfits. The leather looks nice and has not gotten gross on me yet, after a good while of owning it although, I do not use it for daily wear. I’ve worn it to dinner, the club, and just out shopping. I have hit it on stuff like counters and door knobs and it has yet to crack or scratch. I have not tested the water proof capabilities other than washing my hands with it on. The band is really big and I have tiny wrists so I had to punch my own hole in it. The watch face is quite large and flashy, so if thats not your style, maybe look for a smaller version

Not bad, but…
So I bought this watch shortly after buying another version from the Benyar brand because the other model did not give a description that it had a “night glow” feature for the hands or watch face. This version appeared to have it so I thought, “diversify my watch selection and have a backup.” Come to find out when I received this watch and then checking the other model under direct light exposure (ie – shining a flashlight directly on the faces) I was FINALLY able to activate the glow chemicals in the paint to achieve the luminous feature. I feel like I wasted money buying a backup watch, especially this one because (to me) any case thickness above 11mm is too bulky! The other downside to the Benyar line of watches is the night glow feature. It requires a VERY HIGH concentration of light on the watch fa e to activate the glow in order for it to be useful for low light/night readability. I’ve never had a watch prior that was this stubborn to achieve a glow, so I feel this is a quality issue on Benyar’s part. Otherwise, I will give credit to these watches. Despite this particular model’s bulkiness; aestheticaly it’s a decent watch alongside the first one I bought. In regards to the first model I bought, I love the color scheme that hits all three of my favorite colors, so that’s a win. This model only hit upon two… The chrome/silver finish on the casing is not my forte but… It offers diversity like I mentioned prior. For both watches I replaced the stock bands with the “Onthelevel” watch bands (also found here on Amazon) and it helps compliment the aesthetic giving the Benyar watch faces a more “rustic” appeal for men that like a more assertive approach to watch fashion. I haven’t had these watches too too long so far but I can say, I am pleased.

I’m a 58 yr old Florida house painter. I’ve worn my Benyar watch daily since I bought it 1.5 years ago. Mine is black face with gold accent, which looks more like copper, but I like that since gold might look too gaudy, in my opinion. Brown leather band.This watch gets rinsed with a garden hose or faucet many times each day, and is still ticking without any fogging or condensation. I don’t submerge it or shower with it however, nor do I wear it to the beach, due to the low water resistance rating.The night glo feature is visible for about 4 to 5 hours, at least, which I thought would be annoyingly short but turns out it’s rarely a problem, although I do wish it was brighter so it would be easier/quicker for my eyes to adjust…I’ve worn it sleeping and could still see the glow until it was almost dawn.The two little straps that hold the overlapping band… one of them is looking pretty thin and ragged and it might break soon, but the other one is not as bad and will last quite a bit longer.I’ve used the timer several times just to see if it worked and it seemed to be consistently accurate. On and noticed that two of the three dials zeroed when i pushed the reset. The battery is still going despite that use., the original battery from purchase.My band has paint on it from work and I would like to replace just the band, but the watches are inexpensive so I’m buying another black one and also a white one. I think bands are standard sizes and so I will replace it another day with something cool.In summary, everything about this watch has exceeded my expectations, and it’s still working the way it should, and still looking good too.I’m buying two more when I’m done with this review!

Lived up to expectations.
Coming from a watch collector.This time piece didn’t surprise me in any special way. It didn’t jump out of the box with an explosion of beauty and class.. BUT, this watch, has 0 complaints. It may not be the flashiest, super classy, but this watch is a solid piece.Starting with the case, it’s a shiny alloy of sorts, not stainless steel. Very comfortable on the wrist, chronograph pushers don’t jab into the hand when bending the wrist.The black bezel around the case is basic. Serves no true purpose as the chronograph does not use the main second hand, rendering the Tachymeter useless.The dial, my god is that a beautiful Tiffany Blue. It shines like no other. Its such a light sky blue with the white hue just begging to shine through the blue, but the blue is holding strong. The date window is simply gorgeous. Very nicely carved out of the dial, very clean, very readable. The top right sub dial reads current hours in 24hr format.The chronograph is sub par. It uses the bottom subdial to run seconds, while the top left subdial counts minutes.The strap is a very tough, ridged, faux leather. It will take time to work it in, and get it to form around the wrist better.Overall, this watch would benefit the consumer being a tad bit cheaper. If they used a proper chronograph movement they could bump the price up a bit and it would be worth it. Currently how it is, I wouldn’t want to pay over $35 after tax. I paid $68CADOverall score 6/10

Confusing Clock
The color of this watch and size really caught my attention. It’s absolutely stunning.The owners manual was pretty much useless in teaching how to setup the sub dials. The tube has a videos, but not for this specific model.The build quality on other watches like my marlins far exceeds the Benyar for around the same price point as well.If you’re looking for a daily beater, this might not be the best option. New watch from Benuar
The media could not be loaded.
It is a good looking watch, keeps good time but it is too present, I was hoping it’d be a more subtle, sleek but not subtle and I wanted a brown band this is tan but can’t bother with the hassle of return.
