The best air fryer out there

I have an 8 quart Ninja air fryer and I loved it so much, I bought my daughter and her family a 10 quart and she loveshers as well. She has talked about how good it is to all her friends. Mine is always on my kitchen counter, so my friends always ask about it. I think we have become spokesmen for this product.

    Use it almost every day

I love it!They call it air fryer, but it is more like a mini convection oven, it uses the same concept. Cooking meat on the stove, specially red meat, made too much smoke and stunk the whole house, which I really disliked, but since using this, the difference is huge. Specially because steaks and burger patties can go in from frozen state and come out perfectly cooked. Extremely convenient. It is very easy to use and offers different options. The temperature probe is very convenient as it avoids you having to keep a constant eye to see if the meat has reached the desire temperature. It does it automatically and once it has reached the chosen temperature, it shuts off the fryer automatically. The only negative thing I could comment on it is that it is made with some kind of teflon like material, to make it non-stick. I wish they made the baskets out of some other material, like glass, for example. But overall, it is a very well worth purchase.

Large cooking basket, fast speeds and tasty foods!

An incredible air fryer and appliance the replaced all my other appliances like microwave and toaster. Having two baskets and all the sync features makes cooking multiple items differently – or the same- without it being complicated. The food is always great and the appliance is great. I always wish appliances were smaller but this is a fair size footprint. The two baskets are quite large and fit a lot. It does make some noise when on but nothing abnormal. Cleaning is very easy. Lots of other great features like dehydrate.

    Great air fryer

This air fryer works great with fast cook time, not loud noise and has recipe book. I loose a point because it is not big in size as I thought it would be. When it says 10 quart, that is only five quarts per size.

Efficient, Versatile, and Makes Cooking a Breeze

The 8-quart capacity is perfect for larger meals. I’ve made dinner for my family of four without any issues, and everything comes out crispy and cooked evenly. The air frying is incredible—foods come out just as crispy as deep-frying but without the oil and mess. Plus, I love that it’s super easy to clean, which is a huge win in my book.Another great feature is the 6-in-1 functionality. It can air fry, bake, roast, reheat, dehydrate, and even cook from frozen! I’ve used it to make everything from crispy chicken tenders to roasted vegetables to even dehydrated snacks, and they all come out perfect every time. It’s a great multi-tasker and a space-saver in my kitchen. The build quality is solid and the interface is super user-friendly. The touchscreen controls are intuitive, and the presets are very handy for when I’m in a rush and don’t want to think about the cooking time or temperature.

UPDATE: Most Valued Item in My Kitchen

UPDATED AFTER 6 WEEKS OF USE:This has become the most valued item in my kitchen. I’ve enjoyed immense benefit from using this to replace my use of the oven. In the past six weeks I’ve used my oven only twice, to cook a pizza. Everything that comes out of this Foodi is hands down better than it ever was in the oven. I use it on average about 4 times a week for meals. I use both baskets 80% of the time. When I use both baskets, I use the smart finish feature about 75% of the time. No preheat necessary. I found that I can mostly guess the right time for things that don’t have air fryer instructions, it’s that easy going of an appliance, and it’s that hard to mess up! The crisper plates are great for letting grease fall and so things come out tastier and not soggy. An added bonus for me is that it’s super easy to clean! Both baskets fit into the top shelf of my dishwasher and the crisper plates go at the bottom. It’s non stick and comes out very clean in dishwasher. (Note: I do not use the heated air dry, but it sounds like it would work with heated dry on.) As of yet, I have not had to clean the compartments the baskets go into, they seem to remain very clean to the touch. I use the top to place whatever utensil I am using to grab things out during cooking, and then I wipe down the top. The top does not get hot at all.Even though it only goes up to 400 degrees (for everything except air broil, which goes up to 450, on one basket at a time, not both at a time), I find that I don’t need higher than that for things that call for 425 or 450 degrees. 400 works for everything so far. I just add a few minutes. My favorite thing to cook so far: air broil at 400 frozen burger patties, no need to thaw. basket 2: curly fries. Both are done at 14 minutes, flipping the patties over halfway through. Easiest 15 minute 2 burgers half basket of fries dinner ever!ORIGINAL REVIEW:This is my first air fryer. I am pleasantly surprised. It exceeded expectations. I’m a middle-aged perpetual bachelor who’s culinary talents max out at backing chicken breasts and simultaneously using the stovetop to cook rice. Most things for me come in boxes with three instructions or less, and pictures. This enhances that experience for me. In just the few days since I got it I made burgers, chicken, fries, cooked a half ham. It is much better than the oven for sure and the food comes out better. Less oily or soggy for sure.BUT – I was shocked to learn that you can turn the unit on without the baskets inside. If you have kids, this may be a problem. The heating element is easy to reach inside and touch, it’s just above the cooking baskets. I can see this as posing a serious problem if you have curious children who like to push buttons and reach inside of things. I mean, this device doesn’t have a sense detector that says, hey there’s no basket, let’s not turn on. You can fully set up cooking time and temp and with no basket in, press start and it will start cooking. A bit shocking to me considering all of the safeguards I thought were in place for kids when products hit the market.

    2 month review

Works well, took one star because it can’t air broil on both sides at the same time. When air frying both sides it takes longer rather than boosting the power so it would be better if it could get a juice boost but other than that, its great. Get the silicone liners, they keep it looking new.

    Convenient double-baskets

I pushed off getting an air fryer for a while since I was trashing all my previous ones after only one year of use. I spent a few months researching video reviews, images, and reviews from customers before I bit the bullet on this one. Key point here is that I absolutely love and was looking for double baskets. It makes cooking time so much quicker and I’m not someone who cares much for how much countertop space this takes up, which I don’t think it’s bad at all. I have a few things in the same area of my air fryer and haven’t had an issue yet. I use parchment paper liners and silicone liners for the inside to avoid cleaning on a regular basis. I use my air fryer daily and clean it maybe 1-2x a month in full, which is not bad at all. Cleaning is pretty quick and the silicone corners of the baskets make it really easy to not break, bend, or scratch the inside of the baskets when putting them in. Honorable mention, the air fryer has recommendations of how long something will take to cook in pictures in the front of the air fryer and I find that EVERYTHING I make takes less than half the time they suggest. The noise level is medium. Yes I can hear the air fryer but no it’s not an obnoxious sound, just sounds like it’s on.

    A Must Have

I am 70 years old and my kids kept telling me I needed a Ninja air fryer. I finally caved in and bought one. It is the best kitchen purchase I’ve made in years. No more hot oven with the potential to burn myself! Everything I cook turns out beautifully. The dual baskets are a must. Clean up is a breeze. Easy to operate. Instructions are clear. The air fryer came packaged beautifully – no chance of damage. I bought the 8 quart, which is perfect for my husband and myself.

    It’s ok

Great concept. The baskets are equil to 1 regular basket. If you cook with one side temp is accurate, but if you cook with bith sides the time to cook is longer and doesn’t get to temp.

Love the Ninja – Not a fan of the dual basket version

I had a Ninja single basket air fryer for a few years and loved it. It is what made me fall in love with an air fryer. It cooks super fast. Food quality comes out so much better than the microwave. It doesn’t vent too much heat or moisture. The dual basket version wasn’t as big of a win for me. It seems to cook a little slower, especially when using both baskets. The size of each basket is pretty small about the size of a slice of pizza. One really nice feature is that you can prep two different items And cook them at different times, temperatures, etc. The dual basket also takes up a lot of counter space. Overall, I’ll definitely stick with the Ninja, but I’ll probably go back to a single basket in the future. This one may be a great fit for cooking lots of things simultaneously.

    Pleasantly surprised….I think

This air fryer was not what I expected Even though I did read the measurements it was a little smaller than I had hoped for. If you’re cooking for two people I think this would be ideal. But if you’re preparing food for a family of four or more you may run into some slight problems The baskets are really really. You could probably cook two chicken breasts in each side maybe three pieces of salmon in each side. If you like air fryer chicken you could probably do four chicken wings in each side maybe five. I guess you could do more if you wanted to problem up on top of each other but that’s never been a successful way of cooking for me I will say that everything that I cooked in here turned out really well it’s very powerful air fryer gets really hot and maintains the temperature consistently throughout the cook time and yes it’s dual You can use each side and set it for different temperatures or you can sync them and have your food come out at the same time You can use different temperatures for each compartment even if you sync the time. It is automatically set to 15 minutes no matter what you cook I think. But you can easily increase and decrease the temperatures with the arrows on the front. There is really hot air coming out the back of the air fryer so please make sure that you do not put it flush up against your wall Make sure it has room to breathe because the air is really hot. Again I will say it wasn’t quite what I expected but the performance makes up for my disappointment and the size. also after I purchased this it went down $50 Amazon did credit me the difference so just make sure you price check if you buy it. Definitely don’t think it’s worth $169 but what is these days? ! But with the price drop it turned out to be a better value than I expected! Enjoy!

    A great machine!

We love our Ninja DZ071 7qut. 2-zone air fryer! Just be aware it will cook in shorter time than most recipes call for…whether specified on the packaged food or even some air-fryer cookbooks. While not haven cooked anything exotic in it except fried chicken (if you call that exotic), it’s great for chicken nuggets, fish sticks, chicken planks, french fries, salmon patties, fried okra, zuchini and other veggies, and a lot more I can’t think of at the moment. I really like the 2 zones that are separated by a removable divider that makes for a “megazone” for cooking a larger portion of food. Non-stick, easy cleaning. I thought I had a defective unit at first because the “Broil” function had only 1 temp setting (400 I think). As it turns out, that’s all you get with that function. Regardless, this machine is the bees knee’s! Get one. You’ll love it!

One of my favorite kitchen purchases

We ordered this Ninja air fryer around Black Friday, and we have gotten so much use out of it. It replaced an older and smaller air fryer that was on its last legs, and we are thrilled with this purchase.Whoever thought of the double baskets was a genius. It’s so nice to either have overflow space if you need to cook a lot of the same ingredient (using the Match Cook function), or to cook two different items at two different times and temperatures. The Smart Finish feature is also ingenious as it ensures all your food finishes cooking at the same time. This air fryer really does cook everything evenly, and everything we’ve put in it (which has been a lot) has come out beautifully. I love that the entire basket is solid with a non-stick finish, which makes for super easy clean-up.Bonus tip (which we discovered in our espresso machine app), the Phillips HomeID free app has tons of easy and delicious air fryer recipes. You don’t need a Phillips appliance to download or use their app, and all their recipes can be found under the Search button. Some are even for dual basket fryers, and you can save and group your favorites into your own custom recipe books. You’ll find ideas for making full and complete meals, not just chicken tenders and potatoes. We’ve been shocked at how well burgers, steaks, and pork chops cook in our Ninja. It’s a shame that Ninja doesn’t offer something similar, but it’s nice to still have a robust library of recipes at our fingertips. All the five star reviews for this air fryer are well-deserved, and we definitely recommend this one.

Double the Convenience for Quick, Delicious Meals

The Ninja DZ201 Foodi Air Fryer is a game-changer in my kitchen. With two independent baskets, I can cook two different foods at once, which saves time and makes meal prep so much easier. The Match Cook and Smart Finish features are great for syncing both baskets to finish at the same time, even with different settings. The 8-quart capacity is perfect for larger meals or feeding a family. It’s big enough to roast chicken on one side while air-frying veggies on the other. The controls are simple, and the presets make it easy to use for roasting, broiling, dehydrating, and more. The results are consistently good—crispy fries, tender chicken, and even perfectly roasted nuts. Cleanup is easy because the baskets and crisper plates are nonstick and dishwasher safe. The only downside is that it takes up a bit of counter space, but that’s expected for an appliance with this capacity. And a quick laugh: Why did the air fryer get so popular? Because it knew how to keep things crisp in the kitchen! The Ninja DZ201 Foodi Air Fryer is perfect for anyone looking to make quick, versatile meals without sacrificing flavor or texture. It’s a great tool for busy families or anyone who loves cooking efficiently.

Easy to setup, easy to use, easy to clean. Doesn’t leech a ton of heat into the house. Fast to cook foods. Fits on my counter with plenty of space to the front and rear. Buttons have a positive press feel. It works great for cooking my favorite pork chops to temperature via the included temp probe.

    A kitchen must have!

This is by far my favorite kitchen appliance. I’m a 66 year old man that likes to eat. I figured I better learn to cook. This air fryer is unbelievably simple. The convenience of two separate compartments for different foods makes this unit a must. Set the timer to have both ready at the same time is awesome. I cook fish often. Always perfect. Cutting up some potatoes and ready in 20 min.Added features of baking, reheating. Everything tastes better. Healthier too.

The baskets are not great quality – beware chrome

After just over a year of use I am overall happy. I have only used the air fryer function, but that’s just due to my basic needs for it. My husband recently mentioned that the left side seems to have lost power, but I’m not invested enough to test that theory. I have 2 complaints, and tbese are important one to me): 1) When tbey say “dishwasher safe” there should an asterisk next to it. Perhaps if you use lukewarm water, you may be okay? Otherwise the chrome handlds will peel and reveal the white color undermeath. Since I store this on the countertop, as I imagine most people would, this is an eye store and an otherwise modern kitchen. I have been searching for replacement baskets with black handles but so far no luck. 2) iThe surface on the interior and exterior corners of the baskets has also begun to chip away. This is despite me not using metal utensils and, while I can’t bouch for my husband, i’m pretty sure he’s not using them underneath the basket. This leads me to believe it is at least partly water damage. Overall, i could only recommend it if you can commit to hand washing the baskets after each use.

IT’s amazing how crisp a french fry can be

I have been waiting and waiting to buy one of these air fryers and am glad I finally bought this one. While my niece is sending me recipes to try out, I am amazed at how crispy a French fry can be without it submerging them is 4 inches of cooking oil. This is my new toy that can rival my microwave . Real food fast, instead of TV dinners.

Came from a Cosori and other models

Edit: I have had this model for one and a half years. The coating on the interior grills–the removeable pieces–are showing very slight wear and tear. It is still truly no-stick, so it’s a non-issue. I heard they are replaceable too. This is still an outstanding purchase and I am happy I have it. I use this between 3-7 days a week too, so lots of time using this.Original Review:I was disappointed with Cosori brand, having the coating coming off and the basket not staying in the air fryer etc. And I wanted a larger Air Fryer and this seemed like the only option. I heard Ninja was/is reliable and I wanted to try it. I am very glad I did, even though at first I wasn’t an immediate fan.First, this device is far more accurate than the other air fryers I have owned. Temperature actually is regulated and controlled. The modes for cooking are meaningful choices (there is a difference between Air Fryer, Bake, Roast and other modes). I feel like I have actual options for cooking. I can use broil mode for carrots on one side and the bake option for Pilsbury Dough Crescent Rolls in the other.Second, the no-stick coating is legit. Cleanup is a breeze. It is leaps and bounds easier than any other air fryer I’ve used (I’ve owned two, but used many more). There is currently no wearing off of this coating in any way whatsoever. Other areas of the basket that don’t have this coating have a slight wearing of the exterior coat, but it’s nowhere near the food and to be expected.Third, baskets fit nicely into the receptacle and stay in place. This is something I had issues with in other brands and am pleasantly surprised here.Fourth, you can actually turn the basket upside down to dump the contents without losing the inner cooking “grate” or “grill” thanks to the silicone feet they have. You do have to ensure the feet are properly in place before cooking as over time they move out of position. However, they have stayed in place while dumping almost every time. There are some slight caveats with this device, but I don’t see them as anything warranting a problem or really even a negative. They are mostly considerations.- You need to have some knowledge of air fryers before using this to the best of its capabilities. It doesn’t hold your hand. It won’t remind you to shake up a side, or have some presets for cooking that could help someone new to air fryers. Also, because of the way it is designed, it will need you to shake up a side more often than other airfryers that have a basket within a basket design (that makes the airflow guaranteed).- Cook time is slower when using both sides and needs to be adjusted as such. In my opinion it is better to cook less rather than more if in doubt. Especially with meat that needs to be thoroughly cooked (like chicken thighs as an example).- The 10 quart size is mostly depth rather than width. This means if you are cooking something like a whole bag of tatertots, you WILL have to supervise it by shaking them often during the cook time.- The way the airflow is designed means you have to keep the sides of the basket somewhat clear in order to get the true air fryer crispness you are looking for.- Since air temperature in the baskets are more accurate, this device puts out more heat into the room (it will expel excess hot air to keep the temperature inside accurate)- Unlike other air fryers, it doesn’t stop cooking when you remove a basket to shake. Hot aire blows into the room and you have to manually press stop. This could be a plus for some people, but it’s worth noting here.- Using the option to conclude cooking at the same time could be problematic since you often have to adjust cook times while using an air fryer. I wouldn’t consider this a huge feature for buying this device. Some real bonuses- In my experience so far, since the baskets are deep rather than wide, the coil at the top of each side is nowhere near as dirty as other airfryers since the oil/juice popping up during cooking doesn’t always reach the coils.- The temperature is fairly accurate inside- The cleanup is just beyond easy, especially having owned other air fryers that supposedly had non-stick.- Being able to cook two whole chickens–as an example– or two of anything as large as whole chickens makes this unit shine over pretty much all current air fryers.- The outside and inside cleans really easily- All the buttons are tactile and I haven’t had a single issue with the device having issues of any sort or button presses that weren’t registering.

    The perfect air fryer.

I had been looking for a long time for the perfect air fryer and I found it. I use it 2 to 3 times a week. I love it. Easy to operate, easy to clean and perfect size for 2-3 people.

    Great for big families.

I love this machine. I went ahead and sprung for it after my old air fryer started smoking. The whole machine was larger than i was expecting, but so are the baskets. The fact that you can cook a whole cornish hen in each basket is amazing. It’s easy to clean the baskets. I just wish they were able to go in the dishwasher, but it’s not a dealbreaker.

It is NOT PREFECT, but nice.

I am please with this product so far. If I was to say anything negative about this product, I don’t like how small the cooking space in the containers. You cannot prepare a whole chicken in one. You cannot prepare anything of size in one cooking container. If you plan on cooking something of size, get the single and not the double, 8 quarts or more.

    Amazing 10-in-1 Ninja Air Fryer!

This Ninja Air Fryer is a game-changer! It roasts, bakes, and air fries perfectly—crispy fries, juicy meats, and even veggies taste incredible. Reheating is quick, and the keep-warm function is handy. Less oil, healthier meals, and the 10 QT size is perfect for family cooking. Love it!

    Buy It

I was pretty sure my wife was wrong when she said we should spend this much on an air fryer.I was wrong. If you regularly air fry stuff and have any reason to do two things at once, make the purchase. It’s fantastic.

    Great value for the cost.

So many options for making great tasting foods. The fan can be a bit loud but there have been no issues with overheating. I realized after my initial unbranded air fryer failed, that a dual bucket air fryer is much needed for batch cooking/cooking side dishes. The accessories are easy to clean and take out of the basket without any problems. The cooking speed is also relatively quick in air fryer mode but on par with other branded air fryers. The quality is fine for the cost of the air fryer, it was cheaper buying online than in person (on sale). My only complaint is it doesn’t appear to turn off when the baskets are opened mid cycle. I am not sure if this is supposed to be a feature or not but other air fryers i have had, automatically shut off once opened.

    ESPECTACULAR

Get it! Can use it for nearly everything!

Love the versatility of being able to make 2 things at once. Great for reheating. No more soggy french fries. Thought I may regret not getting one that had just one bigger area for air frying, but that has never been an issue. Great quality, and fits great on the counter.

    Best air fryer I’ve owned

I have owned 3 different air fryers and this one is by far the best. It’s easy to use, compact enough to fit on counter, and cooks food perfectly!

    Great buy!

I love this air fryer. I wanted one for quite some time and finally went on the hunt. I read through many reviews before making my purchase and this one appeared to be the winner, as far as price, quality, size, and options. I took a leap and I’m so glad I did! The first few uses had some smell, as I had read in the reviews. I let it run a few times for 20 minutes or so to get rid of the smell before I finally used it for the first time. Short cook times, which is great for my fairly large and growing family. I’ve used an olive oil spray on some food here & there, but nothing significant. I love that it’s easy to clean and maintain, as well. I can’t really complain about anything regarding this fryer. I wish I would’ve bought the 10 qt cause I think I got the 8 qt, but it’s still just right for our needs.
